UCT Safe Sex is a free application which provides the user with sexual health information. It is targeted at young people, providing basic but discreet information on how to use a female and male condom.

The application provides the user with step-by-step instructions on how to use a female and male condom, including both text and visual explanation. The app was built to inform young people and to promote sexual health and responsibility. The app was developed at the University of Cape Town (UCT), as a collaboration between health sciences and information systems. Visual material was created by students from the university residences.

The application is a small download and should work on all modern phones.
