Economic Development Queensland has been working with Redland City Council to prepare an exciting plan which will transform Redland Bay’s Weinam Creek into a vibrant waterfront destination.Uniquely located as the tourism gateway to South East Queensland’s Southern Moreton Bay islands, Weinam Creek is set to become a dynamic seaside precinct featuring cafes, restaurants, community amenities and facilities, tourism and marine-based opportunities, mixed-use residential, waterfront walkways and cycle paths. Check out the app An exciting new app is now available designed to understand the vision for Weinam Creek. The app has three key functions allowing you to: 1. See a virtual glimpse of what potential development could look like in 3D.All you need to do hold your device over our postcard available online or at Council Service Centres and Libraries. The 3D image shows you a model of a bus interchange and car parking.2. Take a mobile walking tour, where you can see what could be built at key points around the site.3.
