With this new android watchface you can use all gif animations as a watchface background.

Please make sure that the animations are not too big in size. The best is to scale the image down to your wearable display resolution. (mostly 320x280 or 280x280)

You can resize gif images using Gimp for free!

You can upload a gif file from your handheld and send it to your wearable by choosing "open File" from the startscreen.

You can also directly download a file from an URL to your wearable by choosing "download" from the startscreen.
