The Stand Up! timer is a simple timer that reminds you to stand up and do something other than just sitting.
Studies show that prolonged periods of sitting, typically longer than an hour, can increase your chances of cardio vascular disease as well as a slew of other illnesses.
You can set customer intervals for sitting and standing periods and select a variety of activities you can do while you're in the "Stand Up" period.
An example of a time period would be to set the timer for a 45 minute sitting period followed by a 5 minute standing period. The Stand Up! timer will alert you when its time to stand and when it's ok to sit with voice alerts.
